Cell Site Drive Testing

CW (Continuous Wave) drive-testing of a proposed location for a new mobile phone service cell-site is a means of gathering advanced information on the likely performance of the site.  O-MC Signal Research, Inc. provides CW drive-testing using a Berkeley Varitronics Gator Transmitter and a wide selection of transmitting antennae to send a continuous wave signal to receivers placed in our Ford Escape Hybrid drive-test vehicle.  The receivers we use are Berkeley Varitronics Coyote Dual Modular Receiver units.  The Coyote receiver steps across the entire selected band of interest in 30 KHz steps.
